Push boxes to beat a level
Lorgeban is a free puzzle and sokoban game by indie developer Hempuli, who is also behind the titles Stumblehill and Mobile Suit Baba. Here, you control an oval-shaped bipedal character who must push blocks to the “X” marks and reach the flag to complete a stage.
Resetting a stage is one button away
Supporting keyboard controls, Lorgeban enables users to use either the WASD or arrow keys when controlling the oval-shaped character. Pressing the “R” key will rectify any mistake you’ve made on a stage — whether it’s dying in the water or pushing a block to a corner or at the wrong place.
The game has other mechanics up its sleeve, as well — which include pushing larger blocks and drawing new ones using your mouse. However, it can be frustrating when you’re stuck at a level and have exhausted all your brainpower in finding the correct solution for a difficult stage.
Push your puzzle-solving skills to the limit
Overall, Lorgeban is a game that keeps your logical thinking skills sharp. Difficult levels, in particular, will test your patience. The block-drawing mechanic also adds depth to the game, forcing players to think outside the box. Hence, this title is worth checking out if you love intellectually stimulating titles.
